Others have dealt very effectively with the technical details of this machine, so I won't dwell on those. It is indeed a superior piece of equipment for those of us who need a machine while traveling and I am quite happy with it, especially for the price. In fact, the only real criticism I have of the machine is that it does not have Bluetooth. It is not a machine I would want to use for my regular work (for which I have a much more capable desktop system and multiple monitors), but it is a better piece of equipment than my current travel machine, a Dell 700m I've hung onto simply because until now I couldn't find anything with a better combination of weight and capability. This machine is considerably lighter than my old Dell and provides superior fire power with almost as much screen space. The machine does not have an optical drive, which at first concerned me, but on reflection I haven't burned a CD or DVD while traveling for at least 2 years now. To cover myself I did purchase a Samsung SE-S084B (about $65 from Amazon and others), which is a nice external DVD burner that works fine with this machine, and is light enough and small enough to not add significantly to the weight if I need to take it along. I spent a surprising amount of time searching for a suitable case, finally coming across the Targus TNC101US Sport Netbook Case (about $25), which is sold by Amazon and which perfectly fits the 6-cell version of this machine. It has a full size external zipper pocket that comfortably holds both the charger and external drive without adding any appreciable bulk. It also has a clip on shoulder strap, which is something I particularly wanted (and which ruled out the sleeves recommended for this machine). Amazon should be suggesting this case for the machine, but for some reason you have to go digging to find out about it.Get more detail about Acer Aspire One AOD150-1920 10.1-Inch Ruby Red Netbook - 6.5 Hour Battery Life.
