This is a great little gadget for anyone who wants a convenient way to surf the web or manage e-mails. The keyboard is more compact than a typical notebook and takes some getting used to, but that is to be expected for a small netbook. It is worth the extra dollars to invest in the 6 cell battery; the charge lasts approximately 7 hours. Also, I think it is worth the extra few dollars to purchase this 10 inch screen model, rather than the less expensive nine-inch model; the extra inch makes a big difference, particularly for those of us who are entering our "bifocal years"! While the six cell battery and larger screen make this model a bit less compact than the smaller, three cell battery model, it is still a very portable unit, lightweight and about the size of a hardback book.
