I bought this on Amazon on Sunday picked free shipping and got it on Thursday! Ok now about the computer. I love this thing I'm some what computer illiterate and this netbook makes setting up surfing the web and all of that a breeze! The size is great it's so small that I can throw it in my tote but big enough to type on and the screen is perfectly clear! I recomend this for anyone looking for a great portable computer!

while I wouldn't call this a powerhouse this little computer does everything I need it to do, easily portable (and easy to hide from my boss:P) sounds good, and while the BIOS only shows 8mbs of VRAM the system will adjust it up to 225mb, it plays about 90% of all the video games I own, it handles movies and music very well, and the web cam has a pretty good picture quality...

my problems with it are...

the touch pad is a pain some times and in order to upgrade the RAM you need to take the computer apart because there is no access panel for it, which will void the warranty if you do it yourself...

"I ordered it on 11-03-09 & got mine 16-03-09,we already have the 8.9" model few months ago, and still I bought this mini. Almost no difference at all, only the size, touchpad, power button, etc. the thing that worry me is, the 8.9" screen is much crispier than the 10.1", I have the 5800mAh battery, and I thought it will provide an 8hrs power for the laptop but only 6.5 hrs is registering same as the 8.9" which is only 5200mAh. It is everything that I had hoped for. It is light and is faster than my other larger laptop. I really like the fact that it doesn't come with Vista. The only downside is that I had to buy ($90) an external DVD portable writer to download stuff. The good thing is that the DVD writer is super slim (about the size of a DVD in its holder). The total package travels well and it fits in any hotel room safe. This thing is amazing. Well worth the price. I use this to surf the net, listen to music, and type papers. It can do all of that with relative ease. I also can play movies, and I was fortunate enough to have gotten the upgraded 6-cell battery that pegs in around 7:30 hour runtime under Windows 7 beta. (it runs Windows Seven like a champ!!) Overall a great product. I purchased this with the intent of only using it for travel, etc. but find that I am using it more and more around the house daily. It's especially good for spot checking e-mail because it boots up so fast. The battery life is awesome, keyboard is great. I can go a few days before needing a recharge.
